describing the design
Once an exhibit design is mostly agreed-upon we take to the next level. Creating finished design materials that are ready to hand off for fabrication. Clients love it because they get to see and approve everything before projects are built. Fabricators also love it because they have a solid idea of what is being built. Visitors have no idea this happens, but should love it too, as in this stage we make sure that the experience remains solid through reality.
Final Design Drawings
How big is that case? What color will that laminate be? These are all things we work through as we develop final design drawings. Detailed down to the last dimension, these drawings are nearly production-ready, creating very few surprises once exhibit elements are built and installed.
Graphic Layouts
Graphic layouts have to go through multiple rounds of changes & revisions before they are ready to be installed. We manage that process from first draft to production-ready files.
Colors, Finishes & Materials
Drawings can only show so much, so we assemble color & materials samples for paint, laminate, flooring, metal, and any other material to be used in the exhibit.
Installation
We tend to leave big installations to the pros, but on some smaller jobs we handle it ourselves. We are also well-versed in handling and mounting historical objects. Regardless of the size of the job, we're always on-site assisting as exhibits come together, whether it is dusting or setting lights we make sure our projects open exactly as they are designed.
