John Metcalf
Before starting Good Design Group in January of 2006, John worked as a senior exhibit designer at Design Craftsmen in Midland, Michigan for more than 10 years. At Design Craftsmen, John led the design effort on more than a dozen major projects including the SPAM Museum, Fort Des Moines Education Center, Thomas Edison Depot Museum and Winston Churchill Memorial and Library. John spent two years as a product designer for Asahi Corporation in Tokyo, Japan after graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Industrial Design. |

Jennifer Beyer Besides being a member of Good Design Group, Jennifer has just been named the Research & Exhibit Museum Coordinator for the Virtual Museum Project at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She earned her masters degree in Education and Museum Studies from Michigan in 2008. Over the summer she worked in Arizona and London gaining valuable insight into the inner workings of museums and the educational programming process. Previously, Jennifer worked as an exhibit designer for Design Craftsmen where she worked closely with John and led the design effort on several projects including the Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center. Jennifer also holds an Industrial Design degree from the University of Michigan. |
